S T C Signals Service Faq
How do I access the Signals on the Website?
The Daily signals are stored as messages on the
Traderclub Forum. Go to the Forum and click on the Stc
Signals Service Area, You must be a subscriber and enter your username and password to have access to this area.
Can I send copies of the Signals to my broker?
Yes. In fact, we will send a copy of the email to your broker for you. When you subscribe you can instruct us to send duplicate copies of your e-mail Signals directly to your broker. However you must work out an arrangement with your broker for implementing any trades.
What software do I need to participate in the Signals Service?
Since you will not need to operate the system programs you do not need any charting or analysis software.
We send you clear concise orders that can be read or transmitted to your broker. All you need is your
email software program.
How many trading systems will I have access to if I subscribe to the Signals Service?
Presently there are 18 systems in operation. Six for T Bonds, three for the Yen, two for Swiss Francs, two for Crude Oil,
three for the S&P, one for Eurodollars, and one for the NYFE Index. Other systems are in progress and will be
added to the Signals Service as they are completed.
Can I subscribe to just the Signals for the S&Ps?
No. There is presently only one level of service which includes all the systems. You can trade any or all of the systems.
The decision of which markets to trade is entirely up to you and if you just want to trade S&Ps you can do that.
However your daily e-mail message will include trades for all the systems.
How should I decide what portfolio I should trade?
This is a good question to discuss with your broker. The amount of risk capital you have available for trading and your
personal risk tolerance are important considerations. Best to start small and be conservative. Start with plenty of
capital and trade at a level that is comfortable for you. Stock Index trading can be very exciting but stressful. If
you want to be conservative, start with small positions in the T-Bonds or Crude Oil.
What time of day will I receive my daily e-mail from the Signals Service?
We intend to send the daily e-mail about 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. This schedule will vary slightly from day to
day depending on the availability of price data and other factors. If we spot a possible data error we may need some
time to make corrections before we send out any Signals.
Why do the Signals have a time stamp of 9:00 pm or later?
The Signals are posted through a server on the East Coast of the Us which
time stamps them when they are posted. This corresponds to the time on the
West Coast when they are sent.
What should I do if I don't receive my Daily Signals?
Start by checking the Stc Signals Service Area,
for the latest Signals. It will have the next days date clearly stated and will be the first message on the page.
Make sure you have kept a copy of your User Name and Password because you will need them to enter the Signals page.
If you cannot access the Signals area for some reason, then send
us an email and we will respond as quickly as possible. If your computer is down and you cannot send
or receive e-mail temporarily you are welcome to phone us at 310 265-9776 and we can give you the Signals by phone.
We also suggest that you authorize us to send copies of the Signals to your broker so that you have someone to help
you with the Signals if your computer crashes.
What about orders for Monday?
We send out orders for Monday on Sunday Evening so that you will have them
before the start of trading on Monday.
Do you ever send out signals intraday?
We have not anticipated putting out any signals intraday so there is presently no need to check
more than once a day. We give out the money management stop loss order for the new positions with
the new entry signals. The odds are that if the market goes crazy in our favor on the day of
entry that we will be better off not getting out during the entry day. We think that in the vast
majority of cases we will be much better off getting out the following day, or waiting for our profit target exit.
If we feel we need to do it we could calculate the profit target and post it along with the entry order and the
MM stop. However we feel bly that letting those first day profits run will be to our benefit.
How accurate is your data that is being used to generate the Signals?
We obtain data each day from at least two different but very reliable sources and then compare the Signals.
If the two data services have different prices we go to a third source and also contact the exchange to verify
which prices are correct.
What happens to the Signals Service if your computer or your server crashes?
We run the Systems each day on two computers at two locations 50 miles apart. This is for back up purposes and also
helps us to detect possible errors. If our main server goes down we have procedures in place to send the signals by
other routes.
How am I billed if I start my Signals Service in the middle of the month?
To keep things simple, we use a formula that charges you a partial rate for the remainder of the current month and
then we begin billing you the full rate starting with the following month. If you subscribe after the 25th of the
month we do not charge for the remainder of the current month.
How can I learn more about the individual systems that are included in the Signals Service?
There are complete details of each system as well as trade by trade data available on the Traders Club website at
http://traderclub.com/systems.htm
You can also find updated 1998, 1999 and 2000 results for all the systems posted on the web site.
